MFA, Design for Social Innovation

I am fascinated by the moments in life that radically shift our perspectives, and create new pathways for understanding. A few of those perspective expanding moments have happened for me in the last few years: moving to New York City (my soul city), completing my MFA in Design for Social Innovation, and becoming a mom.
Parenting is the ultimate design challenge. The little human in my care is watching his world expand by the minute, and it brings me such joy to be able to create the conditions for his ongoing growth with curiosity, empathy, and lots (and lots) of process iteration.
I’ve held many roles in my 10+ years of professional experience, but I have truly always been a designer. I live for those “ah ha” moments when the complexity clears, stories unfold, and solutions become tangible.
